Ahead of their CAF Confederations cup play off tie with Ghana Asante Kotoko, San Pedro defender Kouame Koffi Constant has extended his contract with the club for a another three years.

The 24-Year-old Ivorian central defender will now be with the pétruciens until 2022.

Koffi joined San Pedro in January 2018 following their return to the Ivory Coast league 1 and was ever present in the Orange and White's impressive run up to the FA cup trophy last season.

The defender's rapid rise to stardom has earned him two caps with the Ivorian Senior National team A.

Kuame Koffi Constant has already played 12 games in this season's top flight campaign with another 4 games in the National FA Cup.

The central defender has issued 5 assists in all competitions since joining FC San Pedro.

This extension is a mark of mutual trust and attachment between San Pedro and kouame, who has become an important player of the team.

Reacting to the contract extension, Kouame said, "I want to thank the leaders, the staff, my teammates and the supporters for all the trust and support. Last season changed a lot for me. I'm going to keep working more to be up".

Kouame's first involvement after signing the new deal Will be to held San Pedro overturn a 1-0 deficit against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
