Asante Kotoko legend Sarfo Gyamfi is confident the Porcupine Warriors will emerge victorious against Hearts of Oak in their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash.

The two rivals are set to meet at the Baba Yara Stadium on December 14, 2024, in matchday 13 of the league.

With the Ghana Premier League currently on break due to the upcoming General Elections, anticipation is building for the highly anticipated Super Clash.

Gyamfi, who was present when Kotoko defeated Division One League side Future Stars 2-0 in the FA Cup, remains unshaken in his belief that Kotoko will maintain their dominance over Hearts of Oak.

“We’ve defeated Hearts of Oak in our last three meetings and nothing is going to change when we face them this time.

We don’t care about their recent form. It’s a different ball game altogether when we take on Hearts of Oak,” Gyamfi told Kessben FM.

He continued, “It’s a die and die affair. Even if we have to go into the sea and beat them, we will just do that. We are not afraid at all.”

Asante Kotoko currently sits 7th on the league table with 18 points, just behind Hearts of Oak, who occupy 6th place with 19 points.

The Super Clash promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams fight for crucial points.
