Sarkodie had no prior knowledge that controversial self-styled doomsday prophet Ebo Noah would step on stage during the 2025 Rapperholic concert, according to the rapper’s official DJ, DJ Mensah.

The surprise appearance of Ebo Noah at Rapperholic on December 25, 2025, became one of the most talked-about moments of the December in GH festivities. At the time, Noah had been trending for his dramatic prophecy that a global flood would begin that same day, a claim he backed by sharing videos of wooden arks he was supposedly building ahead of the disaster.

Many fans and critics were puzzled by why such a controversial figure was given space on Sarkodie’s prestigious stage, with some accusing the rapper of helping to legitimise what they described as a publicity stunt.

However, speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, DJ Mensah dismissed the notion that Sarkodie sanctioned Noah’s appearance.

“Sarkodie was not even aware he was coming,” DJ Mensah revealed.
“Sometimes we have to surprise Sarkodie, it’s the event organizers.”

Following Ebo Noah’s arrest, Sarkodie weighed in on the situation publicly. On January 2, 2026, he posted a video on Instagram showing Noah in handcuffs being escorted into a police vehicle.

In the caption, Sarkodie questioned the basis for the arrest, suggesting the prophet was simply creating online content rather than committing a crime.

“Don’t know exactly what my boy’s crime is, but from day one I knew he was making content, unless he’s been charged with something else.”

Ebo Noah had gone viral in late 2025 after predicting a three-year flood that he claimed would destroy the world starting on Christmas Day, 2025, while sharing clips of himself constructing makeshift arks across the country.

His unexpected appearance at Rapperholic — now confirmed to have been unknown to Sarkodie — only amplified the controversy around his dramatic end-of-days claims.
