English-born Ghanaian defender Sean Clare played a pivotal role in Leyton Orient's 1-0 victory over Reading in a hard-fought League One clash at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Clare provided a pinpoint assist that led to the decisive goal, securing three points for his side.

The defender played the full 90 minutes, delivering a commanding performance. He was joined by fellow Ghanaian, striker Daniel Agyei, who also made a significant impact for Leyton Orient.

Despite Reading having the majority of possession, Leyton Orient created more goal-scoring opportunities.

Their first big chance came in the 22nd minute when a defensive mishap gave Galbraith the opportunity to strike, but his effort went high and wide.

Just minutes later, Happe sent a close-range header narrowly over the crossbar, maintaining the pressure on Reading.

The breakthrough arrived in the 27th minute when Clare delivered a perfectly placed pass to striker Charlie Kelman, who calmly slotted a low shot past Reading goalkeeper Boyce-Clarke to give Leyton Orient the lead.

Clare's impressive display in this match marks his growing influence at Leyton Orient, where he has now made five League One appearances, contributing significantly to the team's campaign with this vital assist.
