Ghanaguardian.com understands that ace Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kwame Sefa Kayi has been appointed Board Member of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).

A big wig in the media industry, Sefa Kayi currently hosts "Kokrokoo", the morning show of Peace FM in Accra.

Prior to this appointment, Chairman General, as he is affectionately called, was rumoured to have been tipped for an  appointment as either the Minister of Information or Director of Communication at the presidency, a piece of news he denied last year.

According to him, they were just rumours that circulated way back in 2016 and should be disregarded.

Mr Kayi has several years of experience in radio broadcasting and communication.

The NPA Board is chaired by Joe Addo -Yobo and has Manuel Sawyyerr Esq., Clement Osei Amoako, Bernard Owusu, and Dr Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah as members.

Other members are Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, CEO of NPA, and Madam Diana Mogre.
