Timothy Owoeye, a member of the Osun state Osun House of Assembly in Nigeria is currently in the eyes of the storm after he was caught bathing naked in a market in the middle of the night supposedly for ritual purposes.
With elections looming in the state next week, Owoeye has been accused of undergoing the strange bath to solidify his chance of emerging victorious in the elections.
In a viral video on social media Owoeye, who is Osun House of Assembly Majority leader, was paraded after he was caught naked at an odd hour in the market.
Owoeye who represents Ilesa West in the Osun State House of Assembly was nabbed by vigilante at Osunjela, a satellite town in Osogbo.
Hon Owoeye ritual act is strongly suspected to be connected with the state governorship election slated for Saturday, September 22nd.
