Wilson Arthur, the owner of Skyy FC, has expressed his lack of surprise at FC Samartex's recent triumph in the Ghana Premier League, citing the club's exceptional management and structured approach to football.

FC Samartex, based in Samreboi, achieved a historic milestone by clinching their first league title in only their second season in the top flight.

Their crowning moment came with a 1-0 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars, securing the championship with two matches to spare.

Arthur commended the club's management, stating that their success was inevitable given their meticulous approach to football administration.

He emphasized the abundance of talent in the Western part of Ghana, likening the resurgence of Samartex to the glory days of the Black Stars, which often featured numerous players from the region.

Reflecting on Samartex's achievement, Arthur remarked in an interview with Citi FM, "It's a reflection of the quality of materials that we have in this part of Ghana. Samartex has not surprised me.

It's a very well-structured club, the investment is right. They are running a modern football club, and I'm not surprised at the quality and the performance we are seeing."

As FC Samartex prepares to conclude their 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League campaign with matches against Karela United and Accra Lions, their triumph stands as a testament to their commitment to excellence and effective football management.

Arthur's praise underscores the significance of structured approaches to club administration and investment in talent development within Ghanaian football.
