Acting managing director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei, claims they have sorted out the controversial transfer of Malik Akowuah after settling amicably with Medeama SC.

Akowuah penned a contract with Hearts last week, but his parent club, Medeama SC, issued a press statement that ridiculed the move.

But According to Odotei, things have been resolved between Hearts and Medeama and Akowuah is officially a registered player of Hearts who will feature in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.

He said: “So far as Hearts is concerned, Akowuah is our player, we signed the player with the knowledge of Medeama, and issues with regards to his transfer have been resolved amicably.”

According to information gathered by sportscrusader.com, Hearts paid a transfer fee of Ghs70,000 for the player, with Medeama receiving Ghs50,000 whilst the player got Ghs20,000.
