Parliament is to haul before them the minister for youth and sports following a dismal run by the Black Stars at the African cup of nations (Afcon).

The Black Stars endured a 5-4 penalty misery at the hands of Tunisia at the Ismailia stadium knocking them out of the Afcon which many Ghanaians had high hopes of ending 37 year wait for the elusive trophy.

Ranking member for youth sports and culture committee, Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome disclosed this an in interview with Kumasi based Kessben Fm.

"You know we have gone on a campaign and then its over  now for Ghana so the people want to know whatever happened a short report from him but I'm actually yet to discuss the details with the chairman of the committee so that we will be able to get him to brief us what happened for the general nation to know. We cant be in limbo about the details of of the ANC.

Aside that one too there has been that issue of budget which is still outstanding and so those are the issues now that we are out lets know what is involved." he stressed.

Quizzed whether its not too early to invite the Sports Minister even when the team is yet to touch down in Ghana the South Tongu legislator replied" We have not invited him yet and that we are just responding to the wishes of the people we represent"

The Black Stars together with Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah are expected to touch down later in the day.
