The Ministry of Youth and Sports through the sector  minister, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah has sent his goodwill message to the two Ghanaian teams doing battle in African club competitions.

In a statement released it says  the Sports Minister,Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah  wishes the two teams engaged in the continental assignments, Asante Kotoko and Ashgold well in their respective encounters this weekend.

Kotoko plays Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in a CAF Championship encounter, while Ashgold welcomes a Moroccan side RSB Berkane in a CAF Confederation Cup.

He calls on Ghanaians to rally behind the two teams by trooping to the centres, Baba Yara Stadium and the Len Clay Stadium to give them the maximum support to ensure total victories.

The Hon Minister is confident that our two top clubs will sail through to the next stages of their assignments.

He assures that the Ministry will support the two teams to get to the finals and move on to annex the trophies for the country.
