Chairman for Parliaments defence and Interior Committee, Hon Seth Acheampong who is also the member of parliament for the Mpraeso Constituency says the security agencies must be very detailed in trying to prove the alleged coup attempts by three suspects currently standing trial.
The member of Parliament in an interview with Citi Fm monitored by ghanaguardian.com says that the relevant security institutions must resort to the rule of law in the handling of this precarious matter.
“I am not able to blame anybody conclusively because it is still a work in progress. Investigations are still ongoing. The people have been put before a law court. This is certainly a country governed by rule of law and for me, this is the procedure to follow and the path is on. Due process is up.”
