Ghanaian dancehall stars Stonebwoy and Samini have put an end to rumours of a feud between them.
In a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Time, Stonebwoy explained that although they have had issues in the past, their bond remains unbroken. “Samini knows my heart, and he knows I’m his soldier,” Stonebwoy emphasized, highlighting the strength of their relationship.
The two artists have had a tumultuous past, with a notable incident where Stonebwoy disrupted Samini’s interview, playfully taking over the camera and saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you…the show is 24th December.”
Samini had responded with laughter, referring to Stonebwoy as a “stubborn son.”
Despite this lighthearted moment, the two artists had a four-year-long feud that ended with a reconciliation performance at 3FM’s All White Party on December 28, 2024.
New Beginnings
Stonebwoy revealed that he visited Samini’s house to apologize, which helped mend their differences.
This gesture paved the way for new collaborations, including Stonebwoy’s feature on Samini’s upcoming album, “Originator.” Stonebwoy hinted at the divine nature of their collaboration, saying, “There’s a divine story behind how I ended up on the album. That song will do amazing things.”
The two artists are also working on other projects together, promising exciting music for their fans.
Message to Fans
Stonebwoy urged his fans, known as the BHIM Nation, and Samini’s fans, the High Grade Family, to come together and promote both brands with peace and love.
