4syte Tv over the weekend launched the 8th edition of the annual MTN 4syte Music Video Awards with Stonebwoy topping the list with nine nominations.
Stonebwoy, who has nominations in Most Popular, Best Male, Best Directing, Best Reggae/Dancehall among others is keenly followed by VVIP and Shatta Wale, who have 8 and 6 nominations respectively.
The launch which took place at the plush 4syte Mansion in Trassaco, Adjirigano was hosted by Jay Foley, Eddy Blay, BlackBoy, Wendy Tay and Ogee.
Others who garnered some big nominations on the night include Edem, EL, Bisa Kdei and D Cryme.
New entrants Medikal, Feli Nuna and Ebony also secured some nominations. While Feli Nuna and Ebony have nominations in the Best Female and Best Discovery category, Medikal on the other hand has a nomination in the Best Hip Hop category as well as Best Discovery.
The organizers on the event promise a better and bigger event this year which comes off at the Accra International Conference Center on November 19.
