Dr Mrs Beatrice Wiafe Addai, Chief Executive Officer of Peace and Love Hospitals has cautioned the youth against the use of drugs before sexual activity.

She said taking drugs without accurate knowledge of your health status was very dangerous and this should be stopped.

Speaking at a health screening exercise in Kumasi, Dr Wiafe Addai, stressed the need for regular medical check-ups to ensure early detection of diseases for treatment.

The exercise was conducted by the ANAQ Foundation, a Kumasi-based health NGO in collaboration with the Peace and Love Hospital, to provide free medical screening for the people and also educate them on health issues that were affecting them.

Dr Mrs Wiafe Addai, who is also the President of Breast Care International, urged women to regularly conduct self-examination of their breast and report any abnormal situations for early treatment.
She said early treatment was the only way to treat breast cancer among women.
