Ghana international midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has given Hearts of Oak players $100 each.

The 33 year old has been training with the Ghana Premier League giants at the Legon Park for the past few weeks to keep his fitness.

Muntari on Monday morning gave each of the 22 players who were present at the training $100.

He enjoyed a trophy-laden career in the Italy with AC Milan, Inter Milan and Udinese. He also had brief spells in the English Premier League with Sunderland and Portsmouth where he played a key role in guiding the Pompey to win the English FA Cup in 2008.

The ex Inter and AC Milan central midfielder last season featured for Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.

He joined the Galicians on a short term deal in February in a bid to help the club maintain their Laliga status but was ultimately fighting a lost battle as they suffered relegation to the second division.
