Ghanaian star Andre Ayew could make a permanent move to Turkish Super Lig giants Feberbahce from EFL Championship club Swansea City.
This is according to Swans manager Graham Potter, who spoke to the British media ahead of his side’s clash against Hull City.
The 29-year-old Ayew joined Fenerbahce on a season-long loan from the Welsh club back in the middle of the year.
Swanea are looking to boost their own recruitment options and selling Ayew to the Istanbul side would open up more funds to acquire players in the January transfer window.
"I don't want to get into talks on money and finance because things can change very quickly," Potter said.
"I'm not surprised Fenerbahce would be interested in taking Andre and that's between the clubs to come up with something that is beneficial for everybody, but it's not something I've devoted too much time to apart from being aware he's a player on loan and it's a flexible situation."
Since leaving Swansea in July following the club's relegation from the English Premier League, the former West Ham forward has been a key cog for the Turkish side so far this season, making 14 appearances and scoring four goals in the process.
