Swedru All Blacks have been left devastated following the sudden death of their head coach, Felix Tamakloe, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Tamakloe had been battling complications from a mild stroke, which ultimately led to his untimely passing.

The club confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement, revealing that the coach had been rushed to the hospital during his team's Week 3 Division One League match against Future Stars in the Ashanti Region.

After being diagnosed with a mild stroke, medical professionals advised him to take a two-week break from coaching duties to focus on his recovery.

However, his condition deteriorated, and he was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning.

Tamakloe’s leadership had played a pivotal role in Swedru All Blacks' impressive start to the season.

Under his guidance, the team accumulated 10 points from a possible 12 in their first four matches, positioning themselves as strong contenders for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
