Swiss international of Ghanaian descent, Kwadwo Duah, was on the scoresheet as Ludogorets Razgrad secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ferencvárosi TC in the UEFA Europa League play-off phase on Thursday night.

The 28-year-old forward opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, calmly converting to give the Bulgarian champions an early advantage and set the tone for an intense European encounter.

‎Ferencváros responded swiftly. Nigerian forward Yusuf Bamidele levelled matters just four minutes later, striking in the 27th minute to restore parity and silence the home crowd.

‎But Ludogorets regained control in the second half. Son restored the lead in the 67th minute, a decisive moment that ultimately separated the two sides and ensured the hosts carried a slender advantage from the tie.

‎For Duah, the goal adds to his growing influence on the European stage this season, underlining his importance to Ludogorets’ attacking ambitions as they push for progress in the competition.

‎On a night of fine margins, it was the Swiss-Ghanaian forward who set the platform for victory, delivering when it mattered most.
