Mohammed Mageed opened the scoring in the 29th minute, but Yapei FC's Mohammed Iddrisu leveled the match before halftime.

Sadiq Bawa scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute, ensuring Tamale City maintained their lead at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Real Tamale United (RTU) kept up the pressure on Tamale City with a narrow 1-0 victory over Northern City in a fierce Tamale derby.

Wisdom Jonas scored the decisive goal in the 53rd minute and was named Player of the Match for his performance.

In Zone One B action, Wamanafo Mighty Royals took the top spot with a 2-1 win over Dormaa Unity FC.

Abdul Fatao Salifu scored in the 15th minute, followed by Clinton Junior's goal in the 31st minute to give Mighty Royals a comfortable lead.

Asante Pius Yeboah pulled one back for Dormaa Unity in the 43rd minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
