Abu Dhabi: Thailand are the latest team to arrive for the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, with the Southeast Asians arriving in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

The Thais will be appearing in their first AFC Asian Cup Finals since co-hosting the 2007 edition where their campaign ended in the group stage.

Milovan Rajevac's men will be looking to impress, especially after relinquishing their AFF Cup title, with Vietnam winning the recent 2018 edition.

Thailand will play in Group A with hosts UAE, Bahrain and India for company.

They kick-off their challenge against India on January 6. They then face Bahrain on January 10 and the UAE four days later.

Thailand's best achievement in the AFC Asian Cup was in 1972, when they finished third. Their subsequent five appearances ended in the group stage and they will be aiming to better that in UAE 2019.
