The National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Executive Secretary, Moses Foh-Amoaning, believes that President Akufo-Addo's greatest contribution to Ghana is to have the anti-LGBTQIA+ bill signed into law.

It is President Akufo's unwavering commitment to erect a cathedral for God before he leaves government in 2025. He claimed it was a vow he made to God prior to becoming victorious in the 2016 presidential contest.

However, Foh-Amoaning asserts that because the human body is seen as God's temple in contemporary Christian theology, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ought to see to it that the bill is signed into law in order to stop homosexual activity, which has the potential to wipe out people and entire communities.

Speaking at the Coalition's 10th Anniversary Family Values Lecture in Accra, Mr. Foh-Amoaning declared that the measure promoting Ghanaian family values and proper human sexual rights was not a hate bill.

"The object of the bill is to provide for proper human sexual rights and Ghanaian family values; proscribe LGBTQ+ and related activities; proscribe propaganda of advocacy for or promotion of LGBTTQQIAAP+ and related activities; provide for the protection of and support for children, persons who are victims or accused of LGBTTQQIAA+ and related activities and other persons; and related matters," he said.

Foh-Amoaning, stated that the Coalition did not exist to mistreat people but rather to address the situation through advocacy and, most all, prayer.

He cautioned that any political party or individual who opposed the bill would face electoral repercussions in the 2024 elections,thereby urgeing the politicians to publicly state their position on the legislation.
