High Grade Family's newest recruit, Deon Boakye has revealed that his record label is not pressurizing him to produce hit songs.

The label has housed the likes of Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata and Kaakie who churned out hit songs and has been successful during their days under the record label.

The young singer in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz said despite all the successes chalked by these big names, he is not under any pressure to follow their steps in producing hit songs.

Born Gideon Adade-Boakye, the Afropop singer and songwriter said he is rather excited to be signed on to the record label as he is getting a lot of direction to be a big artiste.

“As a musician this has been my dream; to be on the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards stage and to be part of a good record label.

“There are a few emotions attached to it but I am not pressured…” he said.

So far, Deon Boakye is popular with his single ‘DAB’ which features AMG's Medikal.

He is currently signed to HardBoy Music and High Grade Family.
