Arsenal midfielder Thomas Teye Partey is fit and ready to return to action after missing Ghana’s doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

The 31-year-old had withdrawn from coach Otto Addo’s squad during the recent international break due to some discomfort in his legs, despite playing 84 minutes in Arsenal’s match against Southampton prior to the break.

Partey chose to sit out the Black Stars' games to recover fully from a minor injury, ensuring he would be ready to feature for the Gunners after the break.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed Partey’s readiness ahead of their Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth.

"Thomas Partey is fit and ready," Arteta said, indicating the midfielder's return to full fitness.

The Gunners will travel to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19, at 16:30 GMT.
