Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey says he is focused on enjoying his football as uncertainty surrounds his future at Arsenal.
The 31-year-old’s contract at the Emirates expires at the end of June, with the club currently in discussions over a possible extension.
Despite Arsenal ending the 2024/25 season without silverware, Partey played a pivotal role, maintaining fitness throughout the campaign.
“People are talking about my availability because I was fit all season. Every training session, every match, I gave my best. Injuries are part of the game, but this year I felt great,” Partey told 3Sports.
He emphasized the importance of happiness and balance as he considers his next steps. “The most important thing is being happy where you play. At this stage of my career, my next move must balance ambition, family, and security.
I’m an Arsenal fan too, but it’s up to the club, my agent, and me to decide. For now, I just want to enjoy my football.”
Partey joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in 2020 and has since made 130 appearances, scoring nine goals.
