Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey may have played his final home game for Arsenal, with signs pointing to a possible exit at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old featured prominently in Arsenal's narrow 1-0 win over Newcastle United at the Emirates, helping secure second place in the Premier League for a third consecutive year.

But it was what happened after the final whistle that raised eyebrows—Partey, joined by his partner and daughter, was seen warmly waving to fans in a gesture that many interpreted as a farewell.

Although Partey’s contract with Arsenal runs until June 30, 2025, talks over an extension have stalled. Reports suggest the club is interested in keeping him, but no agreement has been reached.

His emotional post-match moment hints that a decision may already be taking shape behind the scenes.

European heavyweights, including La Liga champions Barcelona and former club Atletico Madrid, are reportedly monitoring the situation.

Juventus, who have tracked Partey for years, remain interested, while lucrative offers from Middle Eastern clubs could also tempt the Ghanaian midfielder.

Despite persistent injuries in past seasons, Partey has enjoyed one of his best campaigns with Arsenal, making 51 appearances across all competitions and scoring four league goals.

His resurgence has been vital to the Gunners' title push, and his leadership in midfield has earned him praise from both fans and pundits.

He is expected to make one final appearance this season when Arsenal face Southampton next week, which could mark the end of his four-year journey with the North London club.
