Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey came off the bench to score in Arsenal's commanding victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners ended a four-match winless streak with an emphatic 3-0 win at the Emirates Stadium, reigniting their title hopes.

Arsenal dominated from the start, with Bukayo Saka breaking the deadlock in the 15th minute. Saka exchanged passes with Martin Odegaard, evaded two defenders, and unleashed a powerful strike into the top corner.

The Gunners continued to press and nearly took the lead earlier, but Jurrien Timber’s close-range effort was ruled out due to an offside in the build-up.

Thomas Partey, introduced at halftime, made an immediate impact, doubling Arsenal’s lead with a stunning 20-yard curler.

Youngster Ethan Nwaneri completed the scoring late in the game, securing a much-needed victory for Mikel Arteta in his 250th match as Arsenal manager.

Nottingham Forest, who have been one of the season's surprise performers and entered the game level on points with Arsenal, struggled to threaten.

Tame headers from Ryan Yates and Nicolas Dominguez were their best attempts, as they failed to register a shot on target.

With this win, Arsenal move closer to the top of the table, hoping to close the gap on leaders Liverpool.

Partey’s goal marked his second of the season in 11 Premier League appearances, further showcasing his influence as a key player for the Gunners.
