Football agent Frank Sifundi, who facilitated Justice Selasie Ako-Nai’s outing to Zambia, says he was not aware the Ghanaian was attending trials at Division One Zone Three side Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy (KYSA).

The 25-year-old Ghanaian footballer who went for trials at Zambian Division 1 side fell during training and died enroute to the hospital.

Oko, who played for the likes of Heart of Lions and Bechem United in Ghana was sent to Zambia by Frank Simunji.

“After he was not signed on by Roan United, I advised him to travel back to Ghana, but without my knowledge he contacted his friend at KYSA to attend trials. What I knew is that he had travelled to Ghana. I was only informed by the manager of KYSA about his death,” Sifundi said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday.
