Maripoma Enterprise Limited, contractor for the Ofankor–Nsawam rehabilitation project, has announced a planned diversion of Nsawam-bound traffic from Achimota Neoplan to Pokuase.

The diversion will be in effect from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, to allow asphalt works on a section of the Ofankor–White House stretch.

The move is part of the ongoing Ofankor–Nsawam Dual Carriageway Rehabilitation Project, which aims to enhance safety and improve traffic flow along the corridor.

During the 12-hour closure, all Nsawam-bound vehicles will be routed onto the service road between Achimota Neoplan and Pokuase.

The contractor urged motorists to adhere to posted diversion signs and follow instructions from traffic management personnel who will be on site.
“Road users are therefore encouraged to follow the traffic direction signs and comply with instructions from traffic management personnel who will be deployed to the area,” the statement added.
