Mother of local gospel sensation, Ernest Opoku, has reacted to the incident involving the lashing of her son by actress and producer, Nayas, known in real life as Glady Mensah Boaku while he was performing at Accra-based Adom FM.
In reacting to the caning incident, mother of the singer said she did not understand why Nayas would beat up her son after alleging that she had been put in the family way and ‘bribed’ to commit an abortion.
She added that Ernest Opoku had not introduced Nayas to her as his girlfriend or fiancée neither had he informed her that he had put a lady in the family way.
The mother of the singer went on to jab the actress and said her aggressive action was testament of why she was still single and had not found a husband for herself.
She said that Nayas was lucky she did not lash her son in Kumasi because she would have faced her full wrath.
