Two siblings, Clinton Ackah, 27, and Richmond Ackah, 20, have been laid to rest at Sefwi Boako in the Western North Region following their tragic deaths in a violent attack.
The brothers were reportedly stabbed by a young man believed to have travelled from Sankore, in an incident that has left the community in shock and grief.
Preliminary accounts suggest the suspect mistakenly identified the two as individuals involved in transporting his girlfriend to a wake-keeping at Akrofu.
The misunderstanding is said to have escalated into a fatal confrontation.
Both victims were rushed to the Sefwi Boako Clinic after the attack but were pronounced dead on arrival.
Their mother, Nana Saah, described the painful sequence of events, saying she first received news that her elder son had been stabbed, only to be called minutes later with confirmation that her younger son had also been attacked.
Community leaders, including the Abuasuapanin of the Asankra family in Boako, Nana Kwame Peprah II, have called for swift police action to apprehend the suspect and ensure justice is served.
Authorities are yet to confirm arrests as investigations continue.
