Two people have been shot dead and two others injured following a robbery attack targeting a mobile money vendor at Fufulso Junction, the Ghana Police Service has confirmed.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the police said the incident occurred at the busy transit point in the Savannah Region when armed assailants reportedly opened fire during the robbery.
The attack resulted in the deaths of two individuals, while two others sustained injuries. The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment.
According to the police, security presence has been heightened within the Fufulso township and surrounding communities in response to the incident.
The police further indicated that an intelligence-led operation has been launched to track down the suspects responsible for the attack and ensure they are brought to justice.
