Two police officers stationed at Ofoase have reportedly died after a collision involving a motorbike and a tricycle.
The deceased officers have been identified as Anti Isaac, a Lance Corporal, and Thomas Allonyor, a Constable. Both were serving with the Ghana Police Service.
According to reports, the two officers were off duty at the time of the incident.
They were riding a motorbike from Ofoase to purchase meat at Ayirebi when their bike crashed into a stationary tricycle.
The officers were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment but later succumbed to their injuries.
Their bodies have since been deposited at a morgue, while the police begin investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
