At least two people working on a new story building been constructed for the Dzorwulu Primary and Junior High has collapsed in Accra.

It is believed the workers made up of laborers and plumbers numbered more than four in number and around 11 am

the building they were working on caved in.

The loud bang attracted passers by to the scene with people making frantic efforts to rescue persons trapped inside the rubble as large cries of help could be heard from beneath the heap of concrete columns gathered.

Those trapped had been under the rubble for more than four hours before personnel of the Ghana Fire Service and Police came to try and help them.

It took hours before the joint team of Police and fire men were able to pull the two men from under the rubble but the two persons who are yet to be identified are feared dead.

Meanwhile those who were rescued initially have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
