Two unidentified thieves have been beaten to death at Yellinwongo in the Upper East region.

According to our sources, the two are part of a gang that have been terrorizing the people of the community.

Luck eluded the two gentlemen who have since not been identified because they were traced by the residents after stealing motorbikes.

The youth who have been incensed by the recent attacks and robberies in the region attacked the two after they were able to trace them.

There have been several armed robbery attacks in several parts of the Upper East region making life unbearable for the residents there.

Churches are been robbed whiles individuals riding their motorbikes even in broad day light are attacked and their motorbikes taken from them.

Recently, drivers who ply the roads demonstrated to drum home the need for the government through the IGP to provide security on the various highways in the country.
