Uber drivers in the capital, Accra have announced a strike which is to compel management of the transport company to review a policy which allows the company to retain 25 per cent of their sales.

Scores of drivers assembled at the premises of the Uber office in Accra in the morning of Wednesday, 25 April 2018, after what they said were failed attempts to have the issue resolved.

According to them, the percentage remitted to Uber is unfair to them and affecting their revenues making their operations unprofitable.

The company is yet to officially comment on the matter.
