United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Ghana, has donated computers to the University of Ghana School of Community Health to facilitate training of health personnel.

The donation forms part of UNFPA’s mandate in contributing to the health sector in Ghana.

Country Representative of UNFPA, Niyi Ojuolape who spoke to Class News at the presentation ceremony said, since the School of Public Health is one of the essential bodies involved in the training of health personnel, it is important to ensure they are well resourced for the task.

Acting Head of Department, Community Health, at the University of Ghana, Dr Edem Tette said the donation was timely as the department has just refurbished its library and in need of books and computers to re-stock.
