The Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region who is also the Deputy Transport Minister-Designate , Hon Frederick Adom Obeng, has donated to the Muslim communities in the area ahead of the climax of this year's Ramadan.

In all, he donated 60 bags of rice, 20 boxes of Oil, 5 boxes of nose masks and 3 boxes of hand sanitizers.

Hon. Frederick Adom Obeng appealed to the Muslims to observe the Covid-19 safety protocols.

The Acting Chief Imam, Sheikh Arimeyaw Musa Muhammed Jagaba received the items on behalf of the Zongo communities in the district.

He urged the youth to comport themselves as they climax the occasion.

The MP was accompanied by the DCE, Hon. Eugene Sackey, the Constituency Organizer, Mr. Addy, the Youth Organizer, Michael Tetteh, the Women's Organizer, Madam Hajara, Council of Elders member, Sariki Amadu and some NPP party members.
