Confederation of Africa Football President Ahmad Ahmad has been  conferred an Honorary doctorate by University of Professional Studies, Ghana.

The President of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and 47 CAF members assembled in the Gateway to Africa, Accra Ghana for the ceremony.

The 59-year-old Malagasy received a honor for his services, innovation and reforms to Africa football.

''The UPSA Management has nominated you for the award of an honorary Doctorate Degree.''

Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Abednego presenting the award laud CAF boss for his positive impact on Africa football.

''Particularly, we are substantially aware of the positive impact you have made in football arena both in Ghana and the internationally,'' Prof Amartey said.

In March 2017, he was voted in as President of CAF, ousting powerful Issa Hayatou with 34 votes to 20 to become the 7th President of CAF.
