German Bundesliga side VfL Bochum have officially secured the services of Ghanaian-Dutch striker Myron Boadu on a season-long loan from AS Monaco.
The deal will see the 22-year-old forward remain with Bochum until the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
VfL Bochum announced the signing with enthusiasm on their social media channels, stating: "Welcome to VfL, Myron Boadu! #meinVfL is delighted to announce the signing of Dutch international striker Myron Boadu on loan from AS Monaco until the end of the season!"
This move to the Bundesliga presents Boadu with a fresh opportunity to showcase his talents and regain his form after a challenging period in France with AS Monaco.
Known for his pace and finishing ability, Boadu previously made a name for himself at AZ Alkmaar, where his performances earned him a move to Monaco.
However, his time in Ligue 1 has been marked by inconsistency, prompting this loan move to Bochum.
Boadu, who also had a stint with FC Twente earlier in his career, is expected to bolster Bochum's attacking options as the club aims to make a strong impact in the Bundesliga this season.
The young striker will be looking to capitalize on this opportunity to prove his worth and contribute significantly to Bochum's campaign.
