American superstar rapper Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter has been in the news again for bad reason after an interview with Lindsey Davids on Nightline. The rapper told Nightline that he “ain’t connected to” the Black Lives Matter movement before storming out of the interview.

“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me,” he said. “If you do, you crazy as shit.” He then pulled out a red bandana and told Davis, “I’m connected to this motherfucking flag right fucking here. I’m connected. I’m a gangbanger, I’m connected.” At that point, the interview was promptly ended when he stood and said, “I ain’t no fucking politician.”

In an apology rendered by the rapper on TMZ, Wayne said, “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a ‘bitch’ and a ‘hoe’, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
