Steven Dese Mukwala, the forward for Asante Kotoko, bid an emotional farewell to the club as he parted ways after a successful two-year stint in Kumasi, during which he scored 25 goals in 63 matches for the Ghanaian giants.

In his heartfelt farewell message, Mukwala expressed deep gratitude to Asantehene, former CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah, and the club's supporters.

"This is probably the saddest day of my life. As I say goodbye to the home that has provided me a platform to grow my career, I want to thank His Majesty, the King, who welcomed me to Ghana," Mukwala emotionally conveyed.

"I am greatly honored by the words of wisdom from the King. I am glad to have been part of this esteemed family. You hold a special place in my heart because you are the best," he added sincerely.

The 24-year-old forward has been linked with a potential move to Tanzanian club Simba FC, marking a new chapter in his career journey.
