Veteran Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan scored his first ever goal for his Finnish side FC Inter Turku in the Finnish league on Monday.

The home side FC Inter Turku beat FG Lahti by 3 goals to nil at the Veritas stadium  as the results sent them closer to the summit of the league.

Currently the league is topped by HJK Helsinki and Monday's triumph takes them to seven points away from catching the leaders.

The 34 year old Ghanaian midfielder scored the first goal of the game in the 29th minute after shooting from outside the penalty box.

Two further goals were added by Timo Furuholm and Benjamin Kallman to ensure the walked away with all three points.

Anthony Annan has played 12 times this season for his side in the Finnish Premier League.
