A number of kids mostly boys ranging from as young as five years to fifteen have been rescued by the human anti trafficking unit of the Ghana Police Service from their kidnappers.

The boys were rescued from towns mostly in the Northern part of Ghana but it is believed they were been transported outside the shores of Ghana through the Northern border.

In a video cited by this portal the boys who have been transported to Accra are currently at the James Town Police Station where an identification exercise will be carried on at a latter date.

It remains unclear how these children were saved from their captors but the boys have been freed from the alleged kidnappers and are now in the safe hands of the police awaiting identification from family members.
