Almost three months after the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, video footage from Turkey's A Haber shows the transfer of five suitcases and two black plastic bags from the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to the Saudi consul's residence in the city.
They allegedly include Khashoggi's body parts.
A book, written by two Daily Sabah journalists, also reveals new details into the writer's killing, Al Jazeera reports.
Newly revealed details from the book titled, "Diplomatic Atrocity: The Dark Secrets of the Khashoggi Murder," sheds light at the event's leading up to the murder and the events transpired after.
New audio recordings revealing information before and after Khashoggi's murder supports Turkey's claim that the crime was a "premeditated murder."
As reported by Daily Sabah, the recordings reveal that Khashoggi resisted his killers for five minutes.
According to the recordings, Saudi intelligence official Maher Abdulaziz Mutreb orders five members of the hit squad to suffocate Khashoggi with a nylon bag.
Khashoggi's last sentence reportedly was, "Do not cover my mouth, I have asthma, you will suffocate me." "Never worked on a warm body" According to the recordings, the process of dismembering Khashoggi's body after his killing lasts half an hour and was done by forensic expert Salah al Tubaigy, using an autopsy saw.
According to the book, Tubaigy is heard saying "I've never worked on a warm body so far but I can easily handle him [Khashoggi]", in a recording from before the murder.
Members of the hit squad reportedly remained present at the scene and were disturbed and nauseated by the dismemberment.
However, the book discloses that there is no evidence of how Khashoggi's body was discarded.
Another revelation the book makes is the identities of two new members of the Saudi "hit squad" who participated in Khashoggi's murder.
A secret source who spoke to the writers of the book under the premise of anonymity is mentioned in the book.
