Nigerian artiste Yemi Alade says being in Ghana feels like home.

According to her, the only difference between Ghana and Nigeria is “language”.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews’ MzGee after her performance at the ‘Glo Laffta and Music Fest’, Yemi says there is no major difference between Ghanaians and Nigerians.

“It is like home. It is like I’m in Nigeria. We are very similar; we are almost just about the same. The only difference is that you speak Twi, the others and we speak other languages,” she said.

She attributes her rise in the Nigerian music industry to “God, consistency and a great fan base.”
