Members of the Ghanaian media expressed their frustration and disappointment on Monday night in Ivory Coast after the Black Stars' seemingly crashed out of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The media reportedly blocked the Ghana team bus from leaving the stadium whiles others booed the team after the players avoided facing the press following their 2-2 draw against Mozambique.

Ghana's performance in the tournament has been far from satisfactory, earning only two points from three group matches.

The dramatic collapse against Mozambique, where Ghana squandered a two-goal lead, left the team on the verge of elimination.

Jordan Ayew played a significant role in the match, converting two penalties to give Ghana a 2-0 lead.

However, Mozambique mounted a late comeback, scoring two goals in the 90th minute and added time to secure a 2-2 draw. The disappointing result placed Ghana third in Group B, behind Cape Verde and Egypt.

The frustration from the media reflects the disappointment of Ghanaian football fans and stakeholders, who had higher expectations for the Black Stars in the tournament.

The team's uncertain fate in the competition has triggered concerns and criticisms, leading to a tense atmosphere around the team.
