Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum says that there was nothing wrong with the penalty that was awarded his side as Gama was clearly brought down in the box.

The porcupine warriors were the better team on the balance of play and perhaps should have won more than just the solitary goal.

But the game was not without the usual controversy as for most Hearts fans they still insist the penalty awarded Kotoko for the foul on Fabio Gama by Abdul Aziz Nurudeen was non existent.

Kotoko's Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama entered the penalty box and it appeared the Hearts midfielder stamped on his foot as he tried to pirouette in the box.

He was  hurled down  and the referee whistled before Frank Mbella Etouga sent Richmond Ayi the wrong way to make it 1-0.

Speaking post match, the Kotoko gaffer believes it was an obvious penalty which was awarded his side for a foul.

"There was a contact, once a player has the ball and is in the penalty area and is advancing towards goal, the  slightest of contacts can make him imbalance and he can lose the ball."

"The player just touched him and brought him down and the law says that its a penalty so once u've brought him down in the penalty area its a penalty" he said.
