Rapper Sarkodie says there is no brawl residing between him and the legendary rapper, Edward Nana Poku Osei widely recognized as Obrafour.

Earlier this month, Obrafour released his ‘Kasahari’; a hardcore rap song whose lyrics hinted that the current crop of rappers are not living up to expectation hence he was still the best of all time.

Many deduced that due to some specific references, the song was directed at Sarkodie.

The rumours were more fueled when not long after that Sarkodie released ‘Almighty’, lamenting on why some people hated him and his craft.

But in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Wednesday, Sarkodie opened up saying "there is no friction between me and Obrafour."

He insisted he was aware of the topical issue that circulated in the media but he and Obrafour "had a conversation and laughed about it."

According to the BET award winner born as Michael Owusu Addo, "for the consumers and media, the story [might] sound nice but the point is none of them is true."

Sarkodie stressed that he recorded the song way back hence he could not fathom why people will channel his song to that of the ‘Heavy’ hitmaker.

“It’s not true. When I did ‘Almighty’ is the same time I did this [‘Bars’] song. I have songs I have not released. I did it for certain artistes when I was underground.”

Sarkodie will be holding the 5th edition of his annual Rapperholic Concert at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 25.
