Multi-talented Ghanaian showbiz personality, Deborah Vanessa Owusu Bonsu, widely known as Sister Derby, has said she jilted her former lover, Medikal because there was no point in fighting over his love.

The 'Kakalika love' hitmaker stated that she saw no point in staying in a relationship where the other partner was disloyal and unfaithful.

Sister Derby disclosed that she took the initiative of ending her 3-year relationship with Medikal because she heard rumours that he was having amorous relationships with other women.

In an interview on AccraFM, the petite songstress said: “If someone had told me that we will separate in the middle of 2018, I would have believed that because there were rumours of cheating. There were rumours; I’m not saying yes or no but there were rumours.”

She continued: “So, basically, we were not to be talking about it but when I found out what I found out, I just left; that’s it. I know people think otherwise but I just left because I don’t see why I should fight for someone who is proving to me otherwise, there’s no point, there’s no reason”.

Sister Derby and rapper, Medikal made headlines last last year when their much publicized relationship hit the rocks.

The two have been jabbing each other on social media after Medikal showed off his new girlfriend, actress Fella Makafui with him he was reportedly cheating on with.
