Ghana international Inaki Williams has been crowned the LaLiga African Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the second consecutive season, becoming the first player to achieve back-to-back wins of the prestigious award.

The Athletic Bilbao forward expressed his joy at the recognition and set his sights on a third consecutive triumph, saying, "Hopefully, I can make it three!" Williams described the honour as a validation of his hard work and commitment to the sport.

He also highlighted the significance of representing his African heritage in one of the world’s top football leagues, noting the inspiration it provides to young African players.

"It's a real honour to be able to represent our roots in this way," he said. Williams secured 32% of the votes to claim the award, thanks to a strong season where he contributed 14 goals and assists, helping Athletic Bilbao qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
